Honey.
I made it a measly
I actually don't know if the above statement is true since I didn't make the dressing or see the ingredients, but I do know that Market 65 uses quality local ingredients and makes everything in-house.
Enough justification?
In reality, this isn't a big deal. It's just a reminder that there's got to be a little give in everything. I had a great workout tonight at hot yoga (burned 900 calories!!) and ate quite well beyond the #honeyfail2012. I feel great and less bloated already.
Tomorrow will be a busy day at work with spinning and toning classes over lunch, so I'm packing some smoked salmon, lightly dressed greens, and a kale/onion/mushroom sauteed in coconut oil and red wine vinegar (which is heavenly), along with a handful of nuts, berries, and grapes for grazing & craving purposes.
"This seems to be getting easier,"she said optimistically, the night before her weekend began.

Nice catch! But it sounds like you more than made up for it. Plus, there are definitely worse things than honey. Great job so far!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Are you sticking to a loose paleo diet? Just curious, I saw you had corn and beans!
Thanks Jess!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually just cutting out grains and sugar for now, then hoping to ease into a 80% to 90% paleo diet. I'm not ready to give up beans or corn, and honestly I don't know if I will. As a recovering vegetarian, beans are a staple in my salads! I just don't eat a ton or either. :)
What gym do you attend or what classes are you doing as exercise?
ReplyDeleteI try to do spinning and toning classes at my office gym twice a week, along with one hot yoga class a week, plus jogging (no more than 2 miles) and weight-lifting at my local gym once or twice a week. Every now and then I'll take a bootcamp class if I feel like I've been slacking!
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking, Jonida!
